Charity Shop Treasure

I don't normally look in charity shops as I'm a sucker for brand new items, but I thought I'd give it a try. Today I browsed Oxfam in Hampstead as charity shops in more affluent areas tend to have better items for sale. There was a lovely Burberry coat but at £199 it was over my budget so I picked up this bargain YSL clutch bag. Ok, so it's meant to be a make-up bag but if you don't tell anyone I won't!

It cost just £5.99 and the leopard print logo is very on trend. I love the felt texture of the bag and it is big enough for all of my night out essentials. I will definitely check out charity shops more often now.

  1. Wow what a bargain! I lived in Hampstead for a year but didn't go to the charity shops that often and never found anything. I wish I went more often now! xx

  2. It's definitely worth looking in charity shops. I plan to try ones in Chelsea but apparently the ones out of London are even cheaper xx

  3. Love the blog :) I was on the look out for london bloggers and happened to come across someone who loves many of the same things as me!
Although I have to say, charity shops are the BEST places ever...theres a few in Notting Hill that are ace :)
(Im pretty new to london, just got a job as a nanny in Fulham, so I spend alot of time lonely shopping! Not at all good for my bank balance...)

  4. Thank you! Thanks for the tip, I'll have to try charity shops in Notting Hill soon. Aww, I know the feeling. Just can't seem to stay away from the shops!
