Last month saw the return of Essex Fashion week which got me thinking Essex style really is a rare breed. Where else do most girls get dolled up to the nines complete with fake tan and false eyelashes just to pop out for a pint of milk? Well, you never know who you'll bump into.
No other programme sums up Essex style like the Only Way is Essex (Sundays and Wednesdays at 10pm on ITV2) The girls (and boys!) are always fully made up, dressed to impress and never have a hair out of place.
One of the most stylish girls on the show has to be Lydia. She has her own style and misses vintage with current trends. She is a girl after our own heart as she modelled for the bargain high street store New Look at Essex Fashion week. Check out Lydias blog at: http://misslydiarose.blogspot.com
Lauren Goodger is a close second with her fashionable, curve-flattering outfits. She wowed at Essex Fashion week in an on trend monocrome striped number. See http://www.nowmagazine.co.uk/imageBank/l/Lauren-Goodger-11.jpg
The fun, vibrant personality of Amy Childs is reflected in her choice of clothing. She usually goes for elegant dresses in bright colours. One of my favourites is the long, blue dress she wore again, at Essex Fashion week. Sam Faiers chose a classy, long white dress for the occassion. Lucy Mecklenburgh who works for fashion label Forever Unique, opted for a glamorous and demure, long light white dress with a sequinned waistband. See http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy317/reallyree/Essex%20Fashion%20Week/DSC_0019.jpg
I'm sure the girls will continue to impress with their fashion choices but all I know is I can't stop watching the show!
