What I wore for the final day of London Fashion Week, February 2015

It feels like Spring is in the air this week and although it may not be warm enough to ditch the thick coats just yet, it won't be long until lightweight jackets will be sufficient cover ups. With this in mind, I braved the windy weather for the final day of fashion week yesterday and wore this pastel yellow collarless duster coat from Primark (£20) but wearing a thermal top under my clothes kept the chill at bay! I thought adding khaki to my yellow jacket and bag (also from Primark) would create an unusual colour combo but seeing as khaki is the new neutral it works.

My Khaki dress (worn over a shirt from New Look) is from asos, (£40) the sunglasses are from Primak (£2.50) and the peep toe boots are from River Island (£40)

What's new Pussycat?

The 70s is one of my favourite trends at the moment and the pussy bow shirt has long been a staple in my wardrobe. I found a paisley version from Primark that I've had for a few years and brought it up to date with an A-line skirt with zip detail from New Look. (£17) My fedora hat is from River Island and the silver loafers are from Linzi (£25)

I'm slowly getting there with my health but I don't feel 100% yet. I'm going for another scan in June so hopefully by then any remaining bleeding and clots on my brain will have cleared, fingers crossed! I still get very tired easily and can't drink alcohol on my medication but what's getting me down the most is not knowing when I'll be able to fly again as my Grandparents live in Spain and I want to plan a visit. I just hope I can fly by late summer/early Autumn

Review of Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub & Unicorn Horn Bubblebar

Lush is right up there in my top 5 shops and one of their products features in 9 out of 10 of my daily baths so I always have to be well stocked with Lush goodies. I popped into the Westfield Stratford store yesterday and picked up a few bath treats including the Unicorn Horn bubble bar and Ocean Salt face and body scrub.

I'll start with ocean salt which looks and smells like a holiday in the Carribean with exotic ingredients including Lime, sea salt and avocado butter. I used a small amount on my face and quite a bit on my feet to try and soften up some of the hard skin on my heels. It felt quite fresh and indulgent on my skin and both my face and feet feel smoother than usual so I plan to make it a regular part of my bathing routine.

The Lush bubble bars are my favourite type of product as they produce such nice smelling bubbles that soften your skin so I always feel pampered after using them. The Unicorn Horn bubble bar that is in stores at the moment turns your bathwater a pretty purple and smells like Lavender so it's been added to my favourites along with the comforter and Creamy Candy Bath. I also only used half so will get another dreamy bath out of it

Linzi SS15 Press Day

I haven't been out much recently as I'm trying to get as much rest as possible to get my health back on track but when I heard about the Linzi press day I knew I had to make an appearance as I've always loved their shoes and every season I buy at least one pair from my local store to update my wardrobe. The Spring/Summer collection certainly didn't disappoint and was their best yet. I struggled to pick a favourite and could have easily picked out at least 10 pairs, ranging from bright jellies to sporty flatforms and wedges that would look perfect with this season's flared trousers. Here are some of my favourites

I plan to treat myself to these orange beauties once they're instore which should be within the next month or so

The lovely ladies at Linzi made me feel very welcome and I also had my nails done using NCLA nail polish in As If, (I love the name, how very Clueless) which is a Spring ready lilac shade. For more pictures from the event why not follow me on Instagram or Twitter? (@ChelseyPrentice)

Zip It

I do struggle to dress at this time of year and wish Spring would hurry up, especially as my hands and feet are always freezing! Last night I went out for a meal at a local restaurant with my boyfriend and his mum so I started dressing with a base of a thermal top and tights then went from there

I love this black A-line skirt with zips which was £19 in the Motel sale. I can see me getting lots of wear out of this over the next few months. The ribbed turtle neck is from Topshop and the boots are really old ones from Zara but thigh high boots are everywhere at the moment. I'm also wearing a sample of Rimmel's Lasting Finish foundation with comfort serum which really helped disguise my imperfections and made my skin feel so smooth so I'd definitely recommend it, especially when used with the Lasting Finish Primer.

Sober as a Judge

On Friday I left the house for a few hours and had a much needed lunch with my friends Terri and Sam. It was Terri's birthday and she went somewhere that was quiet and easy for me to get to so I attempted my first train journey on my own which was successful. As it's so cold I had to wrap up warm with a faux fur jacket but underneath I wore a jacket from H&M (£30) with a stripy top from New Look (around £14, would help if I could find the label or receipt!) and black jeggings from Uniqlo which are so comfortable. (£15) My buckled boots are old ones from New Look. I went for a bold lip using Rimmel Apocalips in Stellar

I was only out for about 3 hours and watched my friends enjoy alcohol thinking I wish I could have just one drink! My anti seizure medication does make me feel a bit out of it at times so it's like I'm drunk anyway! I went back to my boyfriend's house at 4.30 and was shattered so had to cancel the plans I had for the evening as I couldn't face the journey into the city on a busy Friday evening. (large crowds make me stressed and panicky which makes my head feel worse and could trigger a seizure) I need to learn to only agree to one event in one day over the next few months. It's so frustrating though as I used to be here, there and everywhere so I feel so drained and trapped. I've been feeling really down and sorry for myself but I'm trying to snap out of it as this situation should only be temporary
