Shine Bright Like a Diamond

I love an excuse to be daring with fashion and Reflex 80's bar is the perfect place to be a bit experimental. I went there with a few friends on Friday night and thought it would be a great place to wear my lilac metallic skirt from Missguided (£14.99) My T-Shirt was around £8 from New Look and apart from some annoying bloke asking me if I was 'feeling lucky' I think it was a good buy

Despite suffering from a hangover I had a great night and enjoyed some rather large cocktails (see below!)

My New Look neon necklace has been my best purchase this month as I've worn it so many times already. It was £15 and will brighten up and update pretty much any item in your wardrobe

All Change Please

So, I've decided to change my layout, completely strip it back and let the words and pictures do the talking. What do you think?
I was going to completely start again but I didn't want to lose followers and found it difficult to think of a new blog name! It's still a work in progress but I'm getting there. Working full time doesn't leave me as much free time as I'd like for my blog
I also plan to do more beauty posts as I love make-up, bath goodies and lotions and potions almost as much as I love clothes
Fashion posts are few and far between during these arctic conditions which are so hard to dress for. I don't know about you but I'm sick of thermals, scarves and earmuffs. Here's hoping Spring makes an appearance soon

Wet Weekend

Don't you just love the British Weather? I can't help but think that with the amount of rain we get in the UK it's about time the high street stores came up with some stylish yet waterproof outfits. PVC anyone? Until that time comes I suppose we just have to put up with umbrellas and soggy feet. The rain didn't stop me from meeting two of my best friends for dinner and a gossip on Friday night. At the age of 26 a nice meal is often more appealing then going clubbing so I really enjoyed it

I probably wear my H&M cobalt blue jumper (above) around once a week, especially for work and I love my neon jeans from New Look which were a £10 sale bargain last year. I somehow managed to get a footprint on the back of them on Friday night so I'm praying it comes out in the wash. My necklace is also from New Look

My Weekend in Outfits

It's such a nice feeling when you have a great weekend and last weekend was definitely enjoyable. On Friday night I went to pizza express which is a fave of mine then to a bar for a few drinks with my friend. As the weather has returned to arctic conditions I thought both a shirt and blazer were necessary so out came my peach H&M blazer from last year and my new stripy shirt from boohoo.com

on Saturday night I went to my old work colleagues 40th party with my boyfriend and had the best night. I love 80s music and a bit of cheese so I was in my element! My dress was around a tenner from eBay. I'm really into the printed bodycon midi dresses at the moment even though I don't have the stomach for them

Nuts for Neon

I don't know what is it about acid brights but I find myself drawn to them like a magpie to sparkle. 
This is the second neon jumper I've bought recently as I love that I can be warm and still nod to this trend

My lace print jeans are by Kelly Brook for New Look and my boots and necklace are also New Look (the joys of having one near work)

I'm also in that awkward stage of growing out my hair colour. I definitely need to get it cut aswell so need to sort that soon. In the past I've had bleach highlights, lowlights and a high lift tint so it's all a bit of a mish mash. I want to give it a break from colour for a while but I don't know if I'll get away with it. Does anyone else have the same problem?
