Earn Your Stripes

I have always been a fan of the monocrome look, in particular black and white stripes so I'm glad that they seem to be having a moment again. I also think jumpers are perfect for this time of year as you can just throw them on over whatever you're wearing to add instant warmth. I bought the jumper below from H&M last weekend and it's good quality for £24.99

To compliment the black in the jumper I wore my American Apparel wet-look leggings which I've had for around 5 years and are so comfortable. I'm surprised they still fit to be honest! My ankle boots are from Linzi. I probably could have done with wearing heels to complete this look but I tend to dress for comfort and practicality as well as style. My cross necklace is from Forever 21 which is one of my favourite places to buy fashionable but affordable jewellery
